Be aware of trademark renewal proposals

WARNING: We have been notified by some of our clients that they received a letter from a Dutch firm COHEN KLEIN & ASSOCIATES, in which said firm proposes renewal services for Benelux trademarks, for which Office Freylinger is entered as representatives.

Please note that there is no relationship between Office Freylinger and COHEN KLEIN & ASSOCIATES and rest assured that we are monitoring all renewal due dates and will timely inform our clients when their trademarks need to be renewed. The Benelux Office for Intellectual Property confirmed that several right holders have received similar letters and that the Office is investigating an appropriate reaction.

In any event, please make sure that you do not answer such letters and that you do not make any payments in relation to your trademarks that are not sent by your trusted partners, because it may be difficult or impossible to recover such fees.
