Biography

Philippe is a European Patent Attorney (since 2003), a Luxembourg patent attorney and is qualified before the French patent Office (INPI). Philippe joined the firm in 1998 after having graduated as an engineer in materials science from the Institute of Science and Technology in Grenoble, France (Polytech' Grenoble).

Philippe has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Europe and over the world in various technical fields.
He also handles patent litigation cases, and drafts and negotiates patent related contracts.

Philippe obtained in 2014 the University Diploma on Patent Litigation in Europe from CEIPI (University of Strasbourg, France) in order to gain deep knowledge on the new Unitary Patent system.

Next to his counseling activities, Philippe regularly is a regular lecturer at EEIGM (Engineering School) and Faculty of Law in Nancy, France.

Philippe is also an author of the Luxembourg Chapter of the Manual on Intellectual Property (Brown Book) published by Kluwer Law International and a member of the Scientific Committee of the law journal PIN CODE (pin-code.eu) published by Legitech.
